Jughead joins a long line of self-serious indie guys on TV and in movies, who grate on us with their sense of superiority and cultural obsessions: Dan Humphrey in Gossip Girl, Jack Berger in Sex and the City, Kyle in Lady Bird. So why do we love to watch the indie jerkboy?
