The analysts have become so overbearing the games have become almost impossible to watch. Football can stand the load to some extent but baseball, forget it. I stopped watching the sport in 2014 because of this factor. About a year ago I watched the 1969 World Series on YouTube, there were actually times when no one was saying anything, it was beautiful a viewer could actually experience the game without the clutter. The experience of watching a game now is something akin to viewing a film on TV and having the film stopped every few seconds for a host to comment on the staging of the scene.
