This is the first Starting from Scratch thread in our history. Not many people seem to remember it. There's not too much information online for it. Wikipedia doesn't have a page for it.

I remember watching it on one my local Atlanta stations, but I can't recall which one. I liked the show. I would like to see it again.

Bill Daily was good in it. The lovely Connie Stevens played his ex-wife. It also starred Nita Talbot, Jason Marin and Carmine Caridi (occasional).

I was sad to see that the daughter (Heidi Helmer Castino) died in 2010. She was only 45. She was very cute.

I'm not going to post the link here, but when I was looking this show up through Google, I noticed that over 11 years ago, footage from episode 6 ("James TV Debut" (https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1242340/?ref_=ttep_ep6)) was uploaded. Unfortunately, only the final 11:29 minutes were made available and it was dubbed over in Spanish. This is likely, the closest thing that we can get to a "full" episode thus far. So this show might as well, be considered "lost media" (https://lostmediawiki.com/Home).

It's pretty unfortunate on Bill Daily (https://www.avclub.com/r-i-p-bill-daily-from-the-bob-newhart-show-and-i-drea-1828903285)'s part because this was considered his first starring vehicle (https://www.decades.com/articles/rip-bill-daily-the-comedic-neighbor-of-the-bob-newhart-show) on a show, after playing supporting roles (https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/general-news/bill-daily-dead-i-dream-jeannie-newhart-show-star-was-91-939514/) on I Dream of Jeannie and later, The Bob Newhart Show.
