I just bumped up the holiday thread. I figured I'd wait till you got back. Luckily I have 8 days to work with here so the wait was no problem.

Yes !! Very sad!! LA is in mourning !:( He was our beloved mountain lion ! Poor thing was really old , had more health problems than they knew of , and the last straw was he was hit by a car ( hit and run, the person didn't stop) but they knew cause he had injuries thst were typical of getting hit by a car ! :(

So many years surviving and crossing freeways , I guess he was too old and his judgement was off. They had to put him to sleep ! Tragic!! :(

In a post on her Instagram story, the Food Network star said that her neighborhood has experienced a "string of robberies" — including her next-door neighbor — and shared video footage and photos of two men she alleges are burglars.

Bertinelli, 62, captured the men on security cameras outside of her home. She alleged that they came to "scope out" her home Tuesday night and early Wednesday morning around 1 a.m., according to time stamps on the footage.

It was OK where I am, but the rain was coming down in buckets at times ! More rain than we had in years ! We need the rain , we were in a droubt , but this was extreme! :eek:

Yesterday was pretty sunny and today looks to be as well. But we are supposed to get another round of rain this weekend. Prayers that it isn't as bad as last time ! :eek:
