The year was 1989 and the movie Batman was all the rage and because of it's success Batman was seen from toys to food and one such fast food restaurant to do this was Taco Bell. To honor the release of Batman Taco Bell debuted a commercial promoting a series of special collector's cups featuring scenes from the movie and a special sweepstakes was featured. The Batman cups were given with the purchase of a large drink and a meal. Though few people know about these cups they are highly collectible for Batman fans
