When “The Mindy Project” premiered on Fox in 2012, it instantly became another ratings success and an object of intense fandom. But the allegations of on-set bullying on the part of series lead Mindy Kaling, the show has become another just as well known for the drama surrounding its production as its own actual plotlines.

Those controversies will be explored in a new future multi-part documentary series ordered by then.

The series will also address many of the controversies surrounding various cast members, including the accusations of racism and poor behavior from Kaling from several of her own cast members.
