Apple TV+ Orders "Mythic Quest" Companion Series "Mere Mortals"

The "Mythic Quest" universe is expanding. Apple TV+ has ordered "Mere Mortals", an eight-episode companion series.

"Mere Mortals", which will feature entirely new characters, will explore the lives of employees, players, and fans who are impacted by the game at the center of Mythic Quest.

The new series takes a page out of the departure episodes of "Mythic Quest", including the upcoming episode “Sarian,” set to premiere Friday; last year’s “Everlight,”; season one’s “A Dark Quiet Death”; “Backstory!” from Mythic Quest season two; and, the standalone episode, “Mythic Quest: Quarantine.”

"Side Quest" Gets Premiere Date

Apple TV+ has set the release date for "Mythic Quest‘s" universe-expanding anthology series "Side Quest" (formerly titled Mere Mortals), which will premiere with all four episodes on Wednesday, March 26, coinciding with the mothership’s Season 4 finale.

First ordered in December 2022 (initially with eight episodes), "Side Quest" is described not as a spinoff, but as a companion series that “explores the lives of employees, players and fans who are impacted by the game in an anthology format.”




In addition to appearances from Rob McElhenney and Derek Waters, its episodes will feature:
