One thing about Chris Farley to me was that he was one dimensional, he always played the imbecilic, loud, fat guy. He was funny, especially on SNL playing Matt Foley (who lived in a van down by the river). He did a couple of good movies, but again, playing the same character, an imbecilic, loud, fat guy.

Farley knew that also and was depressed about it, because he wanted to broaden his range. He also had problems getting a girlfriend and depended on hookers. Plus the bad dope, drinking and bad overeating.

I wish I was him and his age, I would have packed it in, my bank account and moved to Tahiti, "in an RV down by the ocean", where fat people are worshipped like gods and he could have had his pick of any bronze beauty he wanted.
