I was thinking that Bridget Loves Bernie, Frank's Place, and Don’t Trust the B in Apartment 23 would have been good candidates for a second chance on a streaming service.

View Full Version : What show(s) could have had a second chance if streaming service existed? 24/7 reruns 12-13-2022, 03:30 PM I was thinking that Bridget Loves Bernie, Frank's Place, and Don’t Trust the B in Apartment 23 would have been good candidates for a second chance on a streaming service. TJ 12-14-2022, 01:46 PM The final eight unaired episodes of Don't Trust the B in Apartment 23 were available on Hulu after ABC removed it from their schedule. ABC really didn't treat it well by airing some episodes out of order. The Krysten Ritter comedy was canceled too soon (https://www.sitcomsonline.com/boards/showthread.php?t=422694). Any low rated but critically acclaimed series could have had a second chance on a streaming service. Brooklyn Bridge comes to mind. American Dreams could have had a fourth season and some finality on Peacock. Any unaired sitcoms with multiple episodes produced that never aired on a network (https://www.sitcomsonline.com/boards/showthread.php?t=421371) or series canceled after one episode (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_television_series_canceled_after_one_episode) would be good candidates for a streaming service. 24/7 reruns 12-14-2022, 06:27 PM The final eight unaired episodes of Don't Trust the B in Apartment 23 were available on Hulu after ABC removed it from their schedule. I forgot about the last episodes of Don’t Trust the B in Apt. 23 on Hulu. It is too bad it didn't continue. It was one of the few sitcoms that I liked filmed in single camera with no laugh track/studio audience. Thanks for the additional links. Interesting stuff. |
