Redditors have shared some notable examples of long-forgotten series that they still quite enjoy.

Some shows, such as the enormously successful series The White Lotus, seem designed to be remembered. However, while many shows become part of the canon, there are just as many that, for one reason or another, simply get forgotten by the masses. Sometimes, this is because they were canceled before they could get off the ground, while in other cases they just lacked that special element which would guarantee long-term success.

The users of Reddit have been particularly outspoken in talking about forgotten series that they still love. Even the most under-the-radar series maintain their devoted core of fans.

In many ways, Caroline in the City is the perfect 1990s sitcom (https://screenrant.com/best-90s-sitcoms-ranked-imdb/) and, as its title implies, it focuses on the character of Caroline, a cartoonist living in New York City. As is typical of such shows, it focuses on her life and loves and those of her friends, and there’s no doubt that Lea Thompson is very charming in the role.

Siriusthinking (https://www.reddit.com/r/television/comments/yy79cb/comment/iwsnzge/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3) has this to say about the series: “I'm still mad Caroline in the City ended on a cliffhanger.” Indeed, this is one of the perils of loving a forgotten series; the story very often ends without a resolution, leaving one wondering about what might have been.
