The year's worst shows are a rough bunch to get through.

2022 has been a very messy year, and its output of TV has been no different. For the most part, the shows released over the last twelve months have been excellent, but for every great series, there's been a dire misfire waiting to take its place.

Such is the case with the following shows, which unfortunately represent the worse this year has had to offer. These shows aren't without their merits -- few are -- but the bad heavily outweighs the good, which with many of them is maddening considering their obvious potential.

From smug superhero duds to tired comedies, exploitative biopics and exhausting action-thrillers, these shows are drained of life by poor and lazy writing, low humor, unimaginative drama and one-dimensional characters. They're not all unforgivable (though a couple are), but they're hard to defend, too.

With that in mind, then, here are the 10 worst TV shows of 2022. You'd do well to stay away...

I will try "God's Favorite Idiot". The rest of it, not interested. "Stay Close" might be good but the critic just didnt like it. I have heard some good things about "She Hulk: Attorney at Law", but I dont like the superhero genre (especially now).

To me, there is sooooo much content now, I cannot keep up. I will say again that nothing on the Big Four networks remotely interest me and I only watch "Young Sheldon" on CBS (and The Conners but not religiusly). Praise Allah for YouTube.

I have to consider the source on this one although I have absolutely no plans on wasting my time with any of these.

I have no idea what it's about, but I guarantee that the title character in "God's Favorite Idiot" is a white guy.

The Walking Dead went on for YEARS too long. It should have ended after the first few seasons.

Shehulk Attorney looks like stupid and corny I cringed anytime I ever saw the ads for it.

For those of you who have never seen The Walking Dead...

It is about the dead, but they are walking!

Obi Wan was totally garbage.
The Rings of Power was also incredibly awful, especially if we take into account the expectations and the budget.
