I think this is the Pluto version lol I came across this episode by accident and saw alex as this older lady apartment putting the moves on her and dancing. Then she calls Ann to tell her alex is over there making passes at her and was trying to figure out a creative way to get alex to leave without hurting his feelings. So once he finally leaves the apartment, the show ends

I was looking forward to seeing his interaction with Ann and Schneider after finding out he was over the lady's house. Please tell me this is not the real ending? lol

That older lady was Francine, Ann’s frenemy business partner, who was in 37 episodes. But back to the question, yup, that was the ending. Ain’t no more after that.
