I have not. I have seen Richard Thomas(RT) in an interview with the new JohnBoy (JB).
I do not agree with RT saying that the new kid is a good JB.

I have not watched it and growing up, I loved watching The Waltons. I just don't know how I feel about other actors portraying the characters. I don't have a problem with Richard Thomas narrating a show about The Waltons, but a show that was more like a reunion show. I understand that many of the original cast other than the kids themselves have passed on and Michael Learned is up there in age, but it could be done. I do think something should have been done when Ralph Waite passed as he put so much into that show for many years.

Being a die hard fan of The Waltons and when I grew up watching it being the same age as Kami Cotler and watching her grow up on the TV as I also grew up in my own little head at the time, I was best friends with Elizabeth Walton when I was little. So I probably break down and watch it at some point in time and I will be sure to let everyone know my thought on it.

My take on the Walton's Thanksgiving movie. I have to see I was not as impressed with this movie as I was with the previous holiday Walton's movie the Walton's Homecoming. The acting was fine and I do think the cast is okay, but the whole thing with Ben just blew my mind. I will leave it at that for those who have yet to see the Thanksgiving movie. Would I say it is worth watching, yes it is worth watching but certainly nothing to write home about. In my opinion the best young actress in the entire movie is that of Marcelle LeBlanc who portrays Mary Ellen. I think this young girl has a bright future in the business.
