I think it would have been cool if it were Jack-at least in the honorary sense if nothing else.

I thought it was Ron Deblasio. Then again I may have read it wrong...

LOL on Tony. I don't know him & have never met him but he seems nice. I've never met him so I don't know how he really is. But from what I read he ignored Freddie during his last couple of months cuz he was too busy doing drugs & then come out all upset at the funeral. I don't doubt he was upset & all over Freddie death. I think that was real & sincere but he should've been there for him during his final months instead of doing drugs. I'd love to know the whole story...

This is an interesting question.
First you need to understand the designation of godfather. This is a person who stands in for a person as a witness at a christian christening ceremony. I really don't know if Freddie Jr. was baptized (or christened, depending on the denomination's name for it) Freddie didn't attend a church, so I would think it would be a real good bet Freddie Jr. wasn't, unless it was after Freddie's death. (Kathy didn't strike me as a particularly religious person either, but I don't know that for sure) I know my church doesn't baptize people unless they are going to be a part of the church, or have reason to believe that the person is in danger of dying. I don't know about every church, tho.
I do know that Ron and Bob remained close to Freddie Jr. Bob was at Freddie Jr.'s 1st birthday and Ron was the one who told Freddie Jr. about his dad when he was a young teenager. I think there were plenty of people around Freddie Jr. providing good male role models for him growing up. I would like to think that Freddie was helping a bit too, looking down from where he is, watching over his son. Too bad it wasn't in person. I guess this is the only think I still have a hard time forgiving Freddie for, leaving Pie. I know if he had it all to do over again, he would probably think twice about it, tho. I could never be mad at Freddie! I love him too much.
Well that is my two centavos... for what it is worth.

I guess we`ll never know for sure unless JR tells us. Joy that was good.

I have found a email address for Bob Wall.It is bobwall@worldblackbelt.com
I guess I was right about the spelling of his last name.I thought it was spelled different.

I think Bob Wall was in the E-True Hollywood Story. I think Freddie went to church some after going to LA but tried out different churches rather than going to just one as he was trying to find the right church. I wonder if Bob knows anything. It'd be neat if he could share all he knows about Freddie. :)
