I've thought about creating a sub-forum under General Sitcoms. It seems like everyone has their own Fictional TV Network these days. I don't want anyone to be confused by them and think these are real TV schedules.

I support your ambition. Most of the proposed schedules I've seen are just abstract ways of saying "here's the shows I like" vs "here's the shows that belong in the 2-9 AM dungeon"

SO they all sorta deserve each other.

This is an excellent idea! And I do remember some confusion on one of these a few years back. I'm kinda curious for reasons on a no vote.

Well, in my opinion, to clear up any confusion, all one has to do is click on a thread and it will show the purpose of the thread. Of course, that’s just my opinion. Obviously others disagree.

Well, true, and I only remember the one that caused confusion. I think at the time many posters thought it was a real schedule change coming up for one of the popular diginets.

But I think there's no reason all these fictional networks, wish-list and suggested schedules, and old TV schedules could be grouped in a sub-forum. Anyone with an interest in them could find them all easily.

I am changing my original vote, would be fine with a sub-forum for fictional schedules/networks now.

With icecream changing his vote, the yays have it 8-3.

I don't want to discourage anyone's creativity with the fantasy TV channels/schedules and fictional TV networks. The amount of them can be a little overwhelming. They just don't receive many replies. They are more personal threads. There would be less need to bump them up if they were in their own sub-forum. It pushes other discussion/news threads that could receive replies further down and off the first page.

I think any real old/classic TV schedules are fine on the main board. Any fantasy/created schedules should be in the sub-forum.

So now instead of not reading them on the main board I won't be reading them in a sub forum? I suppose I can adjust.

It's the perfect time to launch the Valerie Bertinelli TV Network (VBTV).

I’m working on a VBTV schedule, but about Victor Buono. Expect a lot of Batman episodes featuring King Tut.

I check last night that Fantasy Schedules now has it’s own sub forum. I will looking forward to create Fantasy TV schedules in the coming weeks.
