At the height of the sales of her debut album Pink Friday Nicki Minaj became one of the biggest selling female rap artists of all time. In the middle of recording her second album Pink Friday Roman Reloaded Nicki Minaj became the face of commercials for Pepsi and other products. So it wasn't long until Nicki Minaj decided to launch a juniors clothing line to be sold at Kmart. Now when you look at the general picture Kmart had great successes with celebrities as we saw with Jaclyn Smith and Martha Stewart and for a short time Maroon 5 singer Adam Levine and singer Thalia Sodi and actress Sofia Vergara had success with Kmart as well and with Nicki Minaj part of the Kmart celebrity family Nicki's success paid off. To launch the Nicki Minaj clothing line Kmart debuted a commercial that talked about Nicki's new clothing line and jewelry line too and Kmart also had a sweepstakes where fans could enter a contest to experience a VIP concert and a chance to meet Nicki Minaj after the concert. Believe it or not since i'm a Nicki Minaj fan I was so excited to see this collection in person at my Kmart and I got a Nicki Minaj purse and earrings from that line too
