I was looking at another thread here which asked what was the last thing you drank and many people said coffee. Does anyone here not drink coffee and never have or rarely have?

For myself, it is very rare. The last coffee I had was about three years ago at a Starbucks. Growing up my parents didnt brew coffee but drank some kind of instant crap in a can. In adulthood, I somewhat acquired a taste for it, but I always drank it sort of like someone would drink cocoa. I so rarely drink it, it is just something different. I had a good friend once who loved coffee and I would sometimes sit and drink coffee with him.

I have never drank coffee to wake me up in the morning. The people that go "I cant function until I have my coffee!" I just never got that habit. I think also I dont drink coffee is because it is a stimulant and it tends to get me amped up. Since I rarely drink coffee (and rarely drink Coca-Cola) my body is not used to it.

I am not into the cult of coffee where people must have it. I can go the rest of my life without drinking it again.

I don't like coffee but I like to drink tea. Cold tea in the summer time and hot tea in the winter time.

I love coffee ! In the cold weather esp., but even in hot weather! Love the taste and caffeine boost ( but by Dr's. orders have to keep caffeine at a minimal ) so only a cup or two at the most in the morning ! ;)

I can't stand anything about coffee: the actual drink, the smell, and coffee/espresso flavored foods.

I don't drink much coffee because my body treats it like a LAXATIVE.

The rest of the day, I am going, going and running, running to the restroom.

I rarely drink coffee. I drink more tea than anything when it comes to hot beverages.

Occasionally I drink coffee. I sometimes like to mix hot cocoa with it.

I drank coffee much more when I was still working.

LOL, the last company I worked at, there was a co-worker who he and I had a shared affection for strong coffee. We'd take turns making it, and I'd always throw in an extra tablespoon of coffee into the basket, I suspect he did too. And then we'd congratulate each other for a "job well done" on the result.

What made this funny is the guy who owned the business was a hard core ex-marine, and when he made coffee it was always the weakest you could possibly imagine. We used to taunt him by holding the glass pot over our heads and insisting we could see daylight through it.

I didn't regularly drink coffee until I was in my 30s. I never really liked the taste of it. I gave up drinking soda. I need the caffeine. I drink a lot of hot chocolate in the colder months also.

Same here. I like the aroma but that's all.

I almost never drink it. About the only times are when I'm at an event for the charitable organization I belong to, which is not often at all.

If I'd like a hot drink over the winter months, I much prefer hot cocoa.
