Tough one for me here. Most of the stuff in the basement fits the question.

Old magazines and catalogs

My shoes,I really need new ones :(

I started a "Stuff Purge" at least 10 yrs ago and boy am I glad about that....I still have a tv sitting in my living room that I do not use and don't believe I will again, but it's sitting there maybe as a reminder of my tv days.

Americans collect too much and can't let go of years of attachments they've spent money because they had $$$$$. It's the American way, I was part of it. When I think back, omg....

I enjoy collecting stuff, it's a fun hobby. Books, vinyl records, CD's, VHS tapes, DVD's, trading cards, etc. I am alone and single and have nothing special to do so I spend time working on collections. It's fun, it's all good.

Having said that, I have some extra copies of classic TV DVD's that I really don't need anymore, that is something I could dispose of whenever I get around to it.

Well I did my collecting and now working to get rid of it all. Can't EAT any of that stuff.

In retrospect, we can do so much more with ourselves than collect stuff.

How about Helping Others?????

Start collecting FOOD, it may get harder and harder to get. (Fuel shortage issue)

I live in China and my wife (Chinese) is out of town and I got tired of how funky the refrigerator was and cleaned it out. She has always had a bad habit of taking cooked and raw meat, putting it into a bowl and leaving it the refrigerator forgetting about it. That and fruit. I buy yogurt and found a cup of yogurt way in the back forgotten. Ate that, it was good! A kind of Chinese hard spicy sausage I like where I dont know where to buy, found that, and kept it (like to eat it for breakfast with eggs)

I went in there and threw away a lot of old food. I feel bad about it because I know people are starving. There would have been many North Koreans who would have scarfed up what I tossed out like gold coins. I clean the refrigerator out once a year because it just ends up funky by my wife's pershiable food hoarding.

Perhaps a more modern version of the question is What’s one piece of junk you own that you really should sell to some sucker on EBay?

Got any old Sears catalogs or wish books? Some can be worth a pretty penny even those from the 80's and 90's.
