Producer Steve Holland explains why none of The Big Bang Theory cast was awarded their own spin-off after the hit sitcom ended in 2019.

I thought that more could have been done with the character of Stuart Bloom but I'm not suggesting there was enough there to build a series around. How successful are spinoffs in the modern TV world? I could definitely see the possibility of a relaunch of the series at some future point with all the characters recast with their corresponding back stories moved forward in time.
