Cheers and its spin-off series Frasier have stood the test of time as two of the most beloved sitcoms of all time - but which was better?

Cheers years 1-5 are better than Frasier, which is better than Cheers years 6-11. There's more very funny episodes in the first five years of Cheers than in 11 years of Frasier. Frasier's quality held up very well, throwing out occasional outstanding episodes to the very end, but it was never as consistently funny as early Cheers.

There's about four very closely related shows - Cheers, Frasier, Taxi, and Wings. I'd rate them:

Cheers years 1-5 is Great - Frasier early years is good

Please...Fraiser was the best (and my favorite character on CHEERS) but his own show had the most horrible and annoying supporting cast and I didn't like him moving away from his friends in Boston. I quit watching after the first season.
