Petticoat Junction is now airing on the Laff channel on Saturday Mornings before Night Court

Public domain prints (Season 1 only). And, no, Laff still has not added anything new not in the public domain in two years.

It's obviously an improvement in their schedule. The first couple seasons of Petticoat Junction are pretty funny, after that they aimed more and more at just being pleasant.

I haven't watched Laff since they took Empty Nest off. Hopefully they do add new shows, but since its been over two years I'm not holding my breath.

I would assume public domain since they are the public domain prints. Only MeTV (and Decades, owned by the same company) have the rights to all 7 seasons of "Petticoat Junction". Season 1 is in the public domain and that's why Laff is airing it.

Yes, the episode quality is public domain. If they were "caught" using an official source for airing, they would be in copyright or contract trouble.

I think I saw a little of it, and the theme was intact, which merely means the music is public domain also.
