Admiral Janeway is searching for Chakotay in Star Trek: Prodigy, but his whereabouts are a mystery. Here's what could have happened to Chakotay.

I havent seen Prodigy partially because all the new Star Trek shows are just so utterly bad. Discovery is unwatchable. The animated series to me is totally stupid and unwatchable (and I recently saw about half of the Deep Space Nine episode since I was such a fan of DS9 and turned it off less than halfway through). Picard isnt much better. Hate to be negative but just my opinion.

Chakotay was paired of with 7 of 9 in the end of the series for some reason. I dont think from what I have read that the actor who played Chakotay, Robert Beltran was very happy with the series, since his character was sort of puched back in the background, especially later in the series. He is actually a decent actor but his character was just so-so and if he decided to leave early and have been killed off would not have been missed.

Chakotay is living on a desert planet with lots of lakes and wild game filled with marijuana and peyote. He makes his own beer and wine and is doing fine, in a lomg term relationship with a Tellerite female named Ox. (Just in that one paragraph made a more interesting story than all of 21st Century Star Trek).
