Saw at the store this morning a pack of the new "cherry flavored" Winston cigarettes. Must be something new as well as part of a new trend. Cigarettes for those under 21.

I have already seen "chocolate" Marlboros ( the smoke smells like a Hershey bar I was told ), Strawberry Phillies Blunts, and peppermint Newports. Plus Camels designed for those males who are into extreme sports/ lifestyle.

And the cigarette companies STILL say they dont want kids to light up.

:eek: Cigarettes for kids? NOT a good thing to get them into. I don't think ANYONE should be smoking cigarettes...they are evil.

Thats not a very good example for kids, I tried those candy cigarette things to play a joke on my Uncle but I really do think it is a bad example. But it's the persons choice when they get older it is just basically a choice if you want to live or die to smoke because that's all it does is kill people...

I do love the candy ones that are like pure sugar but I would never do the real thing

The candy ones used to have orange coloring on the end to look like fire over here but they seemed to stop doing that.

That is a bad thing to get kids into. They shouldn't be selling that stuff to kids. Even if it is cherry flavored. I remember when I was a kid there were popeye candy ciggarettes. Both those kinds of candies are a very bad influence on kids. Even though it's candy, they shouldn't have that kind of stuff on the shelves.

I like the candy cigarettes, but I would never do the real thing! I know too many people who have died from lung cancer and smoking, all at a young age too. :(

Tjis amy sound weird but I love the smell of smoke. However, i ahve never tried because I know if I do i will get addicted and then I will die of cance ror heart diesease. I mean i wish i didn't liek the smell but i do. I DO NOT SMOKE THOUGH> I paln not too in the future either.

All these companies are concerned about is making money, not caring about the influence it may have on young people.

I myself have seen vanilla flavored cigarettes ( Salems? ) and chocolate flavored Phillies cigars. Not the kind the Peanuts gang were chopping down on when Charlie Brown's sister sally was born, but these are real cigars you light up and smoke. Also you now have "flavored" Skoal now too, from vanilla to ( from what I heard ) butter scotch, even Jack Daniels.

I'm not gonna start a big fight over this, but I really dont see the problem once ya hit 14 or 15...it should be your choice, but its against the law to sell to minors and it should be. What I mean is, dont sell em to anyone under 18, but if they happen to get em no big deal cuz its their life. I smoke and I'm 15, I wouldnt encourage others to smoke just becuz I do or expect them to, like I said its your choice to smoke so if ya wanna do it then do it. Well, thats my 69 cents.

HOW DO YOU GET CIGARETTES!?!?!? christ this town sucks... we dont even have people to steal em from in this town. And the one place that sells them has a sign that says "No more than 2 minors admitted at a time" so everythime i go in a get meen looks because i dared to come in while two other kids were there. But even if i could get em... Id prolly never end up doing it because im one of those "think about the future people"

I tried ciggarettes about a month ago and I'm 15 but that's because people said it felt so good and it'll take your problems away but all it really does is cause more problems, sorry people act like it is so cool to do but it's bull****. I happen to love life and living and I want to keep it that way.
