I would like to know when The Mod Squad is coming to a channel near us! The last time I saw it was on cable channel WWOR-TV out of New York in 1994-1995!! I'm 31 years old, and when I was about 4 or 5 years old, it was on in reruns on our San Antonio station KSAT-12 at 3:30 p.m. each afternoon!! I sure do miss it!!!!

I would love to see Mod Squad again; the show was very innovative for it's time...

I wonder how a new version of this show would work today . The movie was disapointing ;so much so that I wish someone would do another movie just to make it right.

I'd love to see this show again. I watched it when it was on in the 60's & 70's...

Hi all.
Glad to see some other Mod Squad fans over here. I loved the show back when it was orginally on...I was 14 when it first aired. Recently I picked up some of the episodes on VHS over on ebay and was hoping someone would know a good source to get more. When I watch the show now, as a seasoned adult, I see so many wonderful nuances that I missed before. Of course we didn't have VCR's back in the late 60's early 70's and I had never caught the show on since then....being caught up in raising kids and all.
Thanks to anyone who has info on episode tapes or reairings or just general info.

The Mod Squad was shown a couple of years ago on both FX in New Zealand (and I assume Australia) and on TVLand Canada (first 40 or so eps). Paramount has made the entire series available for syndication but sadly no one else has picked it up. I have the entire series on dvd if anyone's interested in trading.

I tried to e-mail you and my e-mail came back. I'd be interested in trading you all 174 episodes of Adam-12 on 14 DVD's for The Mod Squad DVD series. If interested please e-mail me.
Thanks

Anyone wanna have a Mod Squad episode discussion??.... I have about 20 episodes so maybe I could participate some. If so tell me your favorite episode and what is it about it that you like.
So far the original Pilot episode (the full one not that edited/butchered one they show on tv reruns) is my favorite. I like learning more about the three main characters and watching their interactions with each other more than I like the actual police work. In that original Pilot there was enough backstory hints and personal conversations between them that I got re-aquainted with the trio after all these years and remembered why I liked them each so much.
But boy, I never realized it before but Adam Greer is sooo intense early on. At first you sorta wonder if he is really supportive or for his young cops or not.
Second favorite episode I have seen so far is The Comeback... mostly because I really enjoyed what they do with the narrative structure there.

What I do wish is that they put The Mod Squad out on DVD. Do you know that I have never seen the original Mod Squad pilot episode?? They did show flashbacks of it in the episode where Linc was shot by the guy who was in prison and he got out on parole and was looking for Pete, Linc, and Julie. How I wished that I had taped some of the episodes of the show. I think TV Land Canada aired episodes in remastered form. Also I taped The Return Of The Mod Squad (the reunion TV Movie that aired in 1979)when it was on TBS back in 1994. But I do hope that The Mod Squad would come out on DVD and also the reunion movie.
