A I Love Lucy Halloween:

(Lucy and the Wednesday Afternoon Fine Arts League is at Lucy’s house.)

Ethel: “Ladies, the Wednesday Afternoon Fine Arts League is going to have its annual Halloween costume show. We need to all be in costume and we need an entertainer. Whom can we get?”

(Lucy stands up.)

Lucy: “I know who we can get. My husband Ricky. I told him about our event and he said…we’ll never mind what he said…But, I can ask him. Who knows? Maybe he will allow me to be in the show.”

Carolyn: “Call him up and ask him.”

Lucy: “I will and he won’t dare say no.

(Later on.)

Ethel: “Now that Ricky Ricardo finally said yes after Lucy asked him a million times during a phone conversation that took place for three hours, now we all need to get in costume. I will use the $1 that Fred gave me to buy a costume on eBay…Meeting adjourned.”

(The girls leave.)

Ethel: “Now that Ricky said that you can’t be in the show, what are you gonna do Lucy?”

Lucy: “I’m gonna be in the show. I will be one of the witches that is going to dance with Ricky. I don’t care what he says.”

Ethel: “Lucy, you realize that if you cause Ricky turmoil, you as a witch may melt like the witch in the Wizard of Oz.”

Lucy: “Oh pish tosh. This is what I am going to do…”

(On Halloween night, Ricky, dressed as a Ghost is ready to entertain the audience at the Wednesday Afternoon Fine Arts League’s event.)

Ricky: “Hello ladies and gentlemen! Welcome to a very spooky night.”

(Laughs evilly.)

Ricky: “I hope you had a great Halloween. Our first number is a song called Hocus Pocus.”

(Ricky sings the song. At the end, he dances and the “witches”, with one of them being Lucy carry pots of water. The kind of pots that in stories only witches use to curse people. Lucy accidentally spills the pot of water over Ricky. Ricky is FURIOUS. He mouths “you got some splainin’ to do.” Lucy does the “ewwww” face. She runs away with Ricky giving chase as the sketch ends.)
