NFL Films is "eyeing a Marvel-like brand expansion into theatrical development, tie-ins with game shows and cooking shows, and its bread-and-butter unscripted business," according to Claire Atkinson of BUSINESS INSIDER. The "fresh content effort" is about "making sure football stays relevant among the widest group of viewers possible." NFL Films also wants to be the "preeminent production partner for those looking to make football-related video IP." While most of NFL Films' business is in "unscripted productions," it is "developing a broader relationship in the movie arena." NFL Films is "not represented by a single talent agency and has no exclusive partnerships with Hollywood producers or studios." However, NFL Films Senior Dir Ross Ketover confirmed that there are "active conversations about such ties." Ketover added that while the league "didn't envisage directing fictional projects," it "could help develop IP and mine stories from its huge archives containing decades of football history." Ketover said that NFL Films is "producing from 5% to 10% more projects this year." An NFL spokesperson said that there are "40 in production and another two dozen in development." Ketover said that the NFL is "looking for athletes and agents to come and bring their stories to 'the place that knows how to tell sports stories better than anyone.'" Ketover: "We're looking to do things in new places. We've never had a show with the Food Network; we're doing one with them this year. We're shooting a tailgating competition show from NFL stadiums, debuting December" (BUSINESS INSIDER, 10/25 (https://www.businessinsider.com/nfl-films-our-version-marvel-universe-film-tv-series-2022-10)).

When you look at the general picture when you have a multi-million dollar company in sports and in football NFL is one company in sports that always gets a big shot at whatever they get or "whenever anything is given to them" The idea to make NFL Films Marvel-like seems like a smart idea. Because just like Marvel has done with it's comics and heroes and movies NFL thinks that NFL Films will do the same thing with it's movies on top NFL stars. And just like Marvel has lots of shows and merchandise with it's characters NFL hopes to do the same thing with it's football stars. I truly think this will be the start of a new image for NFL and NFL Films to attract new fans and get more people to watch their games
