Tobin Bell to Reprise Role of the Villainous Jigsaw in New SAW Movie

Lionsgate and Twisted Pictures have announced that Tobin Bell will reprise the role of John Kramer, a.k.a. the highly-disturbed, trap-setting Jigsaw, in a new SAW movie.

The film will go into production later this month and is slated for release on Oct. 27, 2023. Kevin Greutert, who directed 2009's SAW VI and 2010's SAW: The Final Chapter, will also return to the horror franchise to oversee the movie.

"What a thrill to be reuniting with Tobin," franchise producers Mark Burg and Oren Koules said in a statement. "His performance as John Kramer is part of the magic that made this franchise a phenomenon, and his character is an active part of this film."

I have saw 1 and 2 on VHS and they did an insanely good job for 2004/2005 Jimmy!

3) NO RAW DIGITAL MIXED IN WITH THE ANALOGUE AUDIO!!!!!


I was very happy to see the first one FULL SCREEN . I knew it was as on amazon it said "Full screen" for that movie but the 2nd one didnt say FULL SCREEN so I was even happier to see it is!!

LIONS GATE KNEW THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN DIGITAL AND ANALOGUE!! (These 2 movies showed that)

SAW X Logo Revealed at CinemaCon

Both Tobin Bell and Shawnee Smith are back for this year’s SAW X, and Collider shared a look at the film’s official logo out of the ongoing CinemaCon event tonight.

From Lionsgate and Twisted Pictures, the new film is slated for release on October 27, 2023.



Lionsgate teases, “The return of Tobin Bell to the franchise furthers Lionsgate and Twisted Pictures’ goal of a film that captures everything Saw fans love about the franchise, while also keeping them guessing with all-new traps and a new mystery to solve.”

Franchise director/editor Kevin Greutert, who directed SAW VI and SAW: The Final Chapter, and edited SAW through SAW V and Jigsaw, is directing the project.

He actually died in the 3rd. He still does the voice on the tape recorder and his scenes were mostly flashbacks. He wasn't in the Spiral film.

Wow that movie is very confusing as to who is doing what and WHY!!

I read abouit the last one and I couldnt believe he would help him!!
