Foods can heal or kill. I have been studying potassium issues for many years and have labs done every couple yrs or so and like to come in at higher end of potassium range...The RDA for adults is high and I've read at times 4700 mg and now see the "experts" are changing their figures. So if one feels weak, fatigued and heart issues, good chance potassium levels are low. The "experts" are not sure on any numbers, every one's body is Unique. And Age is a big factor.
This is a good link on Potassium, but for bananas, a small banana can have 100mg of potassium. I do NOT eat bananas.... I concentrate on beans, avocados etc and take some extra 99mg of potassium tablets daily. Salmon is high in potassium and for my break/lunch I'm having a salmon and beans combo....
