Well one of the subplots of the 3rd and 4th season of Diff'rent Strokes was Arnold had a crush on Totie from the DS spinoff Facts of Life. But their is something you should know. Gary Coleman is 2 years older than Kim Fields. Basically you had a 12 year old have a crush on a 10 year old. Don't you find that a little weird?

I can see how you find it strange, but I don't find it strange. Age really dosen't matter, 2 years apart is not much a difference.
"Totie" is spelled "Tootie", by the way.
Thanks for correcting my spelling I was typing awful fast. I don't find it really strange either but someone else might. However two years is a much bigger difference when you a kid than when you are an adult. However remember girls mature faster than boys.

Kim Fields was born in 1969, so in that Bank Job episode in 1980 she would have at least been 11, and Gary's birthday is also 69 so they were basiclly the same age.
I don't see that 2 years is weird at all anyway. Who would question it?

Actually, Gary was born in 1968.
Gary Coleman's Birthdate (http://us.imdb.com/Name?Coleman,+Gary)
Still, they are very close in age, only a year apart.
I heard from a 2000 People Magazine story that Kim Fields was turing 30. Gary's age I heard from a couple of sources. First the TV special "TV Guides Untold Stories" said Gary was 10 years when Diff'rent Strokes started. Also a 1997 Daily Show interview said at that time that Gary was 29. That is were I got all my information.

Kim Fields may have been whatever age she was, but, Tootie was 12 when FOL started and Kim Fields was 9. You have to go by the age of the characters. Not the actors/actresses who PLAYED the characters
I agree with Charlotte Rae Fan.
