So, I wrote a story where my 25 year old Protagonist time travels from 1987 to 2022. He meets his 60 year old older self and he wonders what's weirder. The fact that he time traveled from 1987 to 2022 or that he coexists with his Older Self. What is weirder? Time traveling or coexisting with your other self? 🤔

For me, coexisting with my older self is definitely weirder. Time travel would be weird but in some ways we do it when we watch old TV shows and old movies. We are almost transported away to another time. But talking to your older self? Very strange to wrap my head around that.

Time travel is fascinating. Coexisting with one's older self is definitely strange.
I think of Barnabas Collins' time travels to the past during the run of Dark Shadows. The show's story line had him chained in his coffin in a mausoleum from around 1795 to 1967 or so. In 1967 another character freed him.
So I think of a cartoon line, if Barnabas ever went there in another time travel trip and tried to open the coffin: "No, I better not look. I just might be in there."

What's even weirder is that in my Fictional story, everyone just accepts that the Protagonist time traveled and coexists with his older self! :crazy:Even the Protagonist's older self is like,"My younger self from 1987 time traveled and we talk to each other in 2022. Cool.":crazy:
But I have written multiple times that The Protagonist and his Older self are technically different People, just very close Family Members. They come across like Father and Son.
