MSG mostly is avoided. Xylitol is one I accept as a sweetener. And real sugar in small amount is fine..

I heard you should not have more than 2 - 3 servings of rice per week.

Yes if it has that in it,I understand why!!

Another I avoid is: Calcium chloride

I had some slicied carrots that had this garbage in it and it made my teeth hurt, etc it seemed like forever..... I looked it up and sure enough it can cause problems!!

More garbage that shouldnt be in our food!!!!!!

I use that to melt the ice during the winter since rock salt is bad for the concrete.

Dude, I clicked on this thread to say Carrageenan, and you beat me to the punch. I remember reading online years ago(Like 2017) that Carrageenan can cause severe stomach issues and I noticed that Blue Bell ice cream had Carrageenan in it and I
stopped eating Blue Bell ice cream. Just a little while after I stopped eating Blue Bell ice cream, about three people DIED from Listeria that was in some Blue Bell ice cream!

Blue Bell ice cream had a major recall and shut down all their factories and I thanked my lucky stars that I had stopped eating Blue Bell ice cream shortly before! Blue Bell did a complete revamp/haul over where they cleaned and sterilized everything from scratch and were back in business. I was still wary about eating Blue Bell ice cream, not so much the Carrageenan, but the Listeria thing. I FINALLY gave another chance and bought Blue Bell ice cream again in 2019.... Then, shortly after I bought Blue Bell ice cream again in 2019, I saw on YouTube News that some NASTY teenager opened a half gallon of Blue Bell ice cream in a supermarket licked it, her hair went through it , and she put it back on the shelf! :barf: I was done with Blue Bell ice cream after the Carrageenan, the Listeria, and the licked ice cream with hair going through it. :barf: I finally started eating Blue Bell ice cream again in 2023, YEARS later.

About Carrageenan, I will eat foods with it only depending on where Carrageenan is on the list. If Carrageenan is like the FOURTH ingredient in a 10 ingredient list, it's a hard pass for me. :/ If Carrageenan is like the 10th ingredient in a 10 ingredient list, I'll eat the food. :)

Everything listed above, also if I can't pronounce it, it doesn't go in my body.

I once bought a carton of cottage cheese with a black thick hair in it. It could have been a person's or a rat's hair. Needless to say, hair is an ingredient I avoid eating.

Yes, it was very nasty and disgusting. I didn't eat cottage cheese for a year afterwards.
