Last night's airing of Birth, Death, Love and Rice on Nick at Nite was still not remastered.

You can easily tell that it was not remastered, since everything was dark and faded-looking. I've never seen a non-remastered episode before (even my local UPN station, KPTV-12, has the rights to the remastered episodes!)

Oddly enough, the opening credits and closing credits were remastered, but not the episode itself.

hm..thats wierd lol my the way, the episode before that, I can't remember the name, but at the end Carla was drinking a beer..um why was a pregnant woman drinking beer? and she also did that agian in..i cant remember the name of this either but its when her st. cleats principal starts to frequent the bar. when carla is hanging out with her, ms.di meglio, she is drinking..

"Birth Death Love and Rice" was always a weird one on N@N. yeah, its always been unremastered. b4 N@N began showing all short themes, this ep. has the old, but different recording(similar to seasons 1-3), but w/ the remastered pictures. now, it shows a short theme like any other remastered season 4 theme...weird

and yeah, the ending theme/transition shots/opening cheers sign were all remastered (and so was the sound)

and the ep. before this one was "Rescue Me" the season 3 finale. hey, its carla lol
the 1 before that one was "The belles of st. cletes" i think...anyway, it was the ep. right before Rescue Me

i guess ill have to wait and see if its just nika t nite or the episode itself was never remastered..because we all know nick at nite..:rolleyes:

where i live, my syndication only shows Cheers as a filler sometimes(which is actually my ABC channel...my WB(22) doesnt show Cheers). they r still unremastered, and ive asked them, and dont plan on getting the new ones.

so for ppl who get Cheers in synd. and remastered, check out these eps and see how they r. they are the only ones on N@N that arent remastered:

Birth Death Love and Rice (season 4 premiere)
Diane's Nightmare (like the 5th ep. of season 4 i think)
One Happy Chappy in a Snappy Serape (i know its season 7...ep. 6 maybe?)

i know Diane's Nightmare HAS been remastered now on N@N(it airs tonight, so ill check again). the other 2 still havent, so...

Diane's Nightmare was remastered again, so it looks like it is permanently remastered, on N@N anyway.

remember transfers to stations (for syndication) of remastered eps began a yr. ago, so some stations may have unremastered copies of the 3 eps. i mentioned. youll just have 2 watch i guess
