Last night I saw a commercial for the prime time TVL Kitschen coming soon, and included among the clips of shows was Gidget (for Sally Field fans, the Flying Nun was there too). So it looks like it's not over yet on TVL, even if Gidget won't be on the regular schedule.

As much as I love Gidget, they can't keep showing the episodes over and over again five days a week. I'm sorry to see it go, but what can you do about it.

Yeah I know, which is why this is a good compromise to have it shown on a twice-a-week basis on the Kitschen, for the people who still do enjoy seeing the episodes over or missed one or two for their video collection or whatever. And yeah, I agree about it being a good idea to retire it on the regular schedule to keep from recycling the entire run over and over.

Any idea if TVL has the rights to the New Gidget? That might be a good Kitschen program if they do, and a few reviews I read in books called it a good update, so I'm curious to see it again.
