When it comes to experimenting with new ideas that will sell of all the fast food chains to do this McDonald's is number one to experiment with new innoventions to become successful. And McDonald's has always been trying to attract the adult and teenage market beginning with the All-American Meal in the 60's and when they started focusing on children with the debut of Happy Meals in 1977 McDonald's knew that these inventions were so successful that they just couldn't get enough. McDonald's still with the wish of making more successful combo meals for adults got the chance at the beginning of 1999 when they debuted the Go Active Happy Meal that catered to adults with healthy foods such as burgers Chicken McNuggets and rather than a toy in the children's Happy Meals the Go Active Happy Meal came with a book on healthy habits and exercise a speedometer was included in the meal. Though destined to attract the active crowd McDonald's retired the Go Active Happy Meal in 2000. With this new Adult Happy Meal I think McDonald's hopes to attract an audience that are interested in eating healthy and since many fast food chains such as Burger King and KFC have healthy food options McDonald's will have a lot of competition and will become like Subway if this new Adult Happy Meal is a big seller

No chance for me and Mc Adult happy meal, when Mc came out may yrs ago it was Never a place where I ate, yes I took my little one there for kids happy meal to get her to eat, she was not a big eater, but that was it. I know you are not asking, but if and when I get a fast food burger, it's Carls Jr, to me they are best quality, and of course In n Out Burger.

Thinking back a long time ago, the Mc Burger when I did try it, tasted like processed stuff.....not real meat.

I was at the McDonald's in my town recently to get some cheeseburgers and fries, and was not happy with the food, everything tasted bland as if there was no seasoning on it. :p

McDonald's used to have tasty burgers and tasty fries, but they have changed, it all tastes bland now. I can only figure that they've cut back on the sodium which is what gives the food it's flavor. No sodium equals bland tasting food.

Compared to McDonald's, Burger King has tastier burgers and fries, and so does Wendy's. Wendy's is my first choice, then Burger King.

Another thing about McDonald's, I heard some time ago that their burgers are no longer grill fried, instead they are steam cooked. If this is true, that would be another reason for the bland taste of the burgers, along with the lack of sodium. :p

I like the McD double cheeseburger. It's fine plain. They use a good quality cheese, probably Kraft.

I also really like McD fries, as long as I add more salt.

I usually get the same, double cheeseburgers plain. Or Bacon McDoubles plain with cheese and bacon only. Sometimes Quarter Pounder with cheese plain. Just too bad it all tastes bland now.

Next time I go there, after I get the food home I will have to remember to put some seasoning on it before eating it.

No, I wasn't able to get one of those Adult Happy Meals, most likely because of the box's non-availability in my city's McDonald's.

Not counting the 10-piece Chicken McNuggets, why does the Big Mac have to be the ONLY option in those meals, with its nasty-tasting meat? Why couldn't the Quarter Pounder have been an option? This is a definite downside of your city being limited to two hamburger-chain restaurants with nasty-tasting meat (Sonic being the other). It's definitely LITTLE CLEVELAND! I wish we just had a return of Burger King to my city instead.
