I found Natalie Cole's album Good To Be Back from 1989 and I have wondered if Natalie Cole was making a huge comeback due to the title of this album? Because when the ballad Miss You Like Crazy became a smash hit of 1989 it seemed that Natalie Cole was trying to copy Whitney Houston with a new sound that would appeal to a bigger audience. I can see why the Good To Be Back album was a smash hit bestseller but why Natalie Cole chose to go to the easy listening market is very smart after the release of this album but Natalie returned to R&B and pop with her 1998 album Snowfall On The Sahara. I perferred Natalie Cole's listening albums than the Good To Be Back album because although it's a nice album I dislike Miss You Like Crazy and she tried to compete with Whitney Houston too much

Hi, Bestie! I like Natalie's singing, but she was always under her fathers shadow and never really got her own identity. She had a good voice but never got her own material to establish herself. She was at her best when she dueted with her father.
