I came in search of a chat forum on Fire Country. I'm in Australia and we are about 10 episodes into season one and I'm bored with it now. As a veteran firefighter who wanted an 'action' show we got Days of Our Lives with a fire now and then. Each week they bring in another ex girlfriend of Bode (two in two week now) and some of the lines are just terrible. Added to that the firefighters are having 'normal' conversation about their relationships in the middle of an intense rescue with injured people lying around and they are standing at the truck 'chatting'. I think I'm over it. The story line isn't really progressing and the 'piling on' with an incident is over the top. I mean how many people can they trap and injure when a runaway truck runs INTO the fire station! And how long did it take them to MOVE (or cut through) a shelving unit that blocked them in! Terrible writing.
