I love to go see abandoned places, especially if they are historic and have a colorful history behind it. I found this blog where this guy take tour of abandon places, take photos and tell history behind it.

One place that is shown on his blog is Mississippi Industrial College which I visited back in 1997. Abandoned and mostly forgotten.

These places were once thriving and now sit looking lonely. Most were well constructed. I like hearing about some people restoring them and even living in them.

Yes, old abandoned buildings can be very interesting. Yet at the same time sad because they typically are a relic of some past failure.. Thanks to the O.P. for sharing this.


I find abandoned mental hospitals interesting too.
