Perhaps you never even knew this but a well known fact about country singer Loretta Lynn was that she did commercials and in the 1970's Loretta Lynn became the spokeswoman for Crisco and was often seen in the commercials telling people about how she loved using Crisco on all her favorite foods and some of the commercials even had appearences by her family too. And in addition to being a Crisco spokeswoman Loretta Lynn also had her own exclusive promotions with Crisco such as her personal Crisco cookbook that contained all of Loretta's favorite southern recipes and a Crisco exclusive greatest hits record. Loretta Lynn retired as Crisco's spokeswoman in 1989 but I bet Crisco was very smart to get Loretta as spokeswoman.
