The first game I found to be one of the best ever.

The second game, not so much.

I agree, the 2nd game had potential but it just didn't hold up to the original.

I read that Troy Baker and Ashley Johnson, who voiced Joel and Ellie in both games, will be appearing in the TV-series but their roles were not revealed.

Ashley Johnson I’m pretty sure I’d recognize. Troy Baker I don’t know.

I do have HBO so am planning to check this out when it finally airs.

I could see him playing the role of the cannibal leader, Dave.

I went to IMDB to see if he has any prior onscreen work. He has 397 (!) credits, but all I could see was voice work. 397 is a lot though, a long list, so I easily could have missed some while scrolling through.

Yeah, he's mainly a voice actor.

He's appeared in a handful of live roles, mainly in indie projects, and he also has a few music albums out.

Wait. Just streaming on HBO Max, or also airing on “regular” HBO? Isn’t HBO Max in the process of disappearing or changing or something like that?

It will available on both HBO and HBO Max. Streaming the series on HBO Max has the capability for 4K, I read.

Ok. That’s what I originally thought, but then I thought maybe I was wrong, and it was HBO Max only, like that Sex and the City sequel or Harley Quinn, to name two.

Introducing a Part II Character Early Could Help The Last of Us Continue Its Climb (https://www.cbr.com/introducing-abby-early-help-the-last-of-us-hbo/)

HBO's The Last of Us Season 2 is already on the way. But one change that should be made involves a key character being introduced much earlier.

I was close, he played a member of Dave's group.

Other appearances are the guy who voiced Tommy was in two eps, and the woman who voiced Abby in game two was a nurse in the operating room scene in the final episode, which would be important if they want to fully cast her in that role in season 2.
