The Pictionary remake hosted by Jerry O'Connell premiered today in broadcast syndication. I watched and wasn't impressed, won't be coming back for a 2nd episode.

I am REALLY hoping this show bombs in a big way. It has completely destroyed the lunch hour viewing schedule. The programming director in charge of this disaster should be visibly shot!

I happened to watch some of the new Pictionary on Youtube and let me ask this? Who on earth thought it was alright to do a game show on Pictionary when it's been the third game show version of it since the 1997 version with the late Alan Thicke premiered? As Laurel and Hardy say "it's a fine mess" and this Pictionary is really and truly a fine mess. For one thing from the episode I saw it's not really Pictionary at all but rather a rip-off of Win Lose Or Draw that aired from 1987 to 1989 on NBC with Vicki Lawrence and in my vision I sense a lawsuit between Pictionary producers and the Burt Reynolds estate because the set of Pictionary is a living room just like Win Lose Or Draw had when Burt Reynolds created Win Lose Or Draw. The celebrities chosen to play Pictionary seem sort of weak and they should've added more well-known celebrities to make the gameplay fun. Jerry O'Connell is a okay host but I think he's mainly there for comedy and they should've picked a better star like Bill Hader or David Spade to host Pictionary instead because Jerry O'Connell seems to be focused on fun rather than host the show. I doubt Pictionary will last enough to see Season 2 but I think it will be cancelled after 10 episodes

1. I'm glad we can agree on this. The show really does suck.

2. If you want a better host, why would you want David Spade? He is horrible!!

3. I remember "Win Lose Or Draw" and I thought it was a good fun show. I liked Vicki Lawrence but I thought Bert Convy was a lot better as the host.

I watched a few minutes of the new Pictionary and to me it looked so much like Win, Lose or Draw. The game and the set looked identical. I wouldn't be surprised if the show didn't last more than one season.
