Has anybody else seen this movie? Barbara completed this movie the same year as LITB appeared. She plays a similar worrisome mother but to a daughter about to graduate high school. The daughter falls in love with a boy in her class and has trouble controlling her sexual urges with this boy while her mother (Barbara) simultaneously worries about her daughter maintaining her virginity. There’s a scene where the mother assumes the daughter and her boyfriend had sex while they were away for the weekend and she’s disappointed about how they trusted her and such. The whole story was something I always thought about how they’d handle it on LITB, worrying about their boys (specifically Wally) taking that step with girls, or at least a girl he’d been serious about. I’d say the closest that June and Ward ever got to being worried about that with Wally was Marlene, the box office girl. But, if the show were ever to portray “the talk” how do you think that would have gone???

I don't know, but with Beaver, Ward would do better if he related the talk to frogs and tadpoles.
