If you grew up in the 80's you probably remember dancing to tunes performed by Zapp And Roger. Zapp And Roger were a group led by lead singer Roger Troutman and popularized the autotune style of singing that is used a lot in music today. Some of Zapp And Roger's songs included Computer Love and I Heard It Through The Grapevine and are fun to dance to. When I heard them sing it they reminded of the character Guy Diamond from the movie Trolls and this is probably where Dreamworks got inspired to create Guy Diamond's voice
