Way before gaining fame in the 90's with his famous trial that kept everyone on the edge of their seats in 1995 OJ Simpson was featured in commercials for Hertz and was spokesman from the 1970's to 1993 and featured OJ doing lots of neat stuff in these commercials. There is even a commercial that features OJ being a superhero trying to get to his rental car and being his inner Superman. Hertz really knew how to make celebrities make magic by putting them in commercials to make them attract customers

With the passing of OJ Simpson today one question I would like to figure out is how OJ got chosen to promote Hertz? Because it is weird that OJ Simpson became Hertz's spokesman and he was very cool in the commercials and I bet he was offered big money by Hertz to be their spokesman
