While searching Tubi I happened to discover Hearts Afire and I saw an episode and found a romantic and cute sitcom and I wondered where the idea for Hearts Afire came about? It's a real shame Hearts Afire lasted only three seasons because it's such a cute and wonderful sitcom that CBS should've given more time and more seasons. I had no idea that John Ritter and Billy Bob Thornton were in this sitcom together and they were an excellent team in this sitcom and Markie Post is fabulous as John Ritter's wife in this show and Markie really was amazing in sitcoms and Hearts Afire was so perfect for her. I thought it was clever that the chorus of Earth Wind And Fire's 70's hit That's The Way Of The World was used as the end credits theme song and that made Hearts Afire unique in some ways. It's really surprising that few people know about Hearts Afire mainly because of John Ritter and I think Hearts Afire is truly one of John Ritter's underrated sitcoms of his career. What's shocking about this show is that the same creators of Designing Women created Hearts Afire and it's one show that should've been more successful for Mozark Productions
