Great news! Looking forward to the special!

I'm looking to those Spooky Sunday block parties!!! I figured they would do a marathon of other shows besides sitcoms.

Some (one time only) schedule changes on 10/1 because of the special:

The Three Stooges at 6PM will only be an hour instead of its usual 2 hours.

Svengoolie airs at 7PM (again, one time only) and will feature "Count Yorga, Vampire" (1970).

The new special, "Svengoolie Uncrypted" airs at 9PM.

The season premiere of Sventoonie, which is an hour, airs at 10PM.


The first Spooky Sunday Block Party on 10/2 consists of Halloween/horror themed sitcom episodes.

12PM: The Brady Bunch "The Great Earring Caper"
12:30: The Brady Bunch "Fright Night"
1PM: Gilligan's Island "Ghost A-Go-Go"
1:30: Gilligan's Island "Up at Bat"
2PM: Happy Days "Haunted"
2:30: Happy Days "The Evil Eye"
3PM: My Three Sons "Ghost Next Door"
3:30: Leave It to Beaver "The Haunted House"
4PM: Green Acres "The Ballad of Molly Turgis"
4:30: The Beverly Hillbillies "Trick or Treat"

Then, there will an encore of Svengoolie Uncrypted at 5PM.

Sinclair is not the owner of MeTV, Weigel Broadcasting is. The parent companies own stations and networks, and where they don't own stations they compete for affiliates. So some local stations have agreed to affiliate with Charge or Comet instead of MeTV.

I totally agree. This would be a great afternoon schedule but instead we have those lousy westerns.

Cox Media Group owns Comet here in the Boston area, and we still have our MeTV affiliates.

Sventoonie returns to its weekly timeslot at 10PM Saturdays starting 10/8 (and this is the only change for the fall schedule.)

This one has been hyped so much on the METV website over the years, that I am actually looking forwaed to seeing it.

It's one of the best 1970s made for TV movies, Karen Black is excellent in all 3 segments, the best and probably most remembered is the one that features the Zuni Fetish doll. There was a sequel made in 1996, not quite as good though.

I really liked it, especially that last segment. Karen Black did a pretty good job as the sole person in the last segment, and the twist at the end was pretty good. I'm really glad I got to see it after years of wanting to see it! Duel is probably my favorite of the made-for-TV horror movies I've seen, but Trilogy of Terror is up there as well now.

Little off topic - has anyone ordered a Svengoolie t-shirt or anything from the MeTV store? Ordered one 5 days ago for an X-mas Present and still not out the door.

Seems to me MeTV has done the best job yet for holiday programming.

The Sventoonie Christmas special should be interesting. “The Raven” hasn’t been shown on Svengoolie since 2015, and it’ll likely have the Christmas skits he’s aired before! Good news! Also the Peanuts movies will be nice since nobody is airing the holiday specials this year. It will also be interesting to see what the new Toon In with Me Christmas special will have.

Are they still going to air The Donna Reed Show Christmas episode at 6:30pm November 27, Sunday? I don’t see it listed.

Anyways I do agree Me TV really is a Wonderful channel to watch for the Holiday Season. Unfortunately antenna tv is having difficulty with its scheduling airtimes with there Christmas episodes. antenna tv still has great Christmas episodes just on at the wrong times. Hopefully they will get back on track soon.
