I find it hard to believe that since it ended Moesha has never been reran on any channels since then and I cannot figure out why? Is Moesha not very popular as many other sitcoms of the 90's are? Because the last time Moesha reruns were seen was on The-N channel. And it would be nice if Laff could add Moesha to the lineup. My mom showed me an episode of Moesha and I loved it simply because I was a huge Brandy fan

This is my personal opinion, but I think that the whole twist (https://www.lipstickalley.com/threads/moesha-when-frank-was-exposed-as-dorians-son-wtf.575847/page-2) about Frank having a secret love child (Dorian (https://www.reddit.com/r/MoeshaSitcom/comments/k6he5p/dorian_ruined_the_show_to_an_extent/)) behind his family's back really hurt the show (https://www.lipstickalley.com/threads/things-you-didn%E2%80%99t-like-about-moesha.4731527/)'s rewatch (https://www.reddit.com/r/MoeshaSitcom/comments/jq2ory/just_finished_watching_moesha_from_start_to/) value. It is without a doubt, the show's jump the shark (https://web.archive.org/web/20061031141222/http://www.jumptheshark.com/m/moesha.htm) moment. The whole thing (https://www.lipstickalley.com/threads/moesha-when-frank-was-exposed-as-dorians-son-wtf.575847/) felt like a huge betrayal (https://www.lipstickalley.com/threads/is-moeshas-father-frank-the-biggest-hypocrite-in-any-sitcom-ever.989899/) to the audience.
Sheryl Lee Ralph is among the first (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FX26rGd8JEM) to tell you that she hates that storyline too, and it served as a factor in her to not want to be (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CZopj36L-bQ) on the show anymore. It didn't help that the show ended (https://screenrant.com/moesha-season-7-canceled-reason-renewal-updates/) on an unresolved cliffhanger. By that point in time (https://www.reddit.com/r/blackladies/comments/im5btl/moesha_season_5/), Moesha (https://web.archive.org/web/20140402224659/http://forums.televisionwithoutpity.com/topic/3114289-everybody-say-moesha/?view=getnewpost) seemed less like a sitcom (https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0115275/reviews), and more like a self-serious, tawdry soap opera.

It's spin-off series, The Parkers fared much better in syndication. Also, The Parkers complete series is on dvd, while only the first season of Moesha was released due to poor sales.
