Why doesn’t cable stations have Fall Schedule Changes like they use too? That was something to always I looked forward on seeing for Fall?

Is the reason for the middle being taken off- heavily reduced is because HBO Max has its rights?

Is the middle officially gone from Freeform? I went to there website and typed
the middle in search bar and it said no results. I also noticed the office has been airring in the middle’s time slots.

Black-ish is also off the Freeform lineup. But the show is also airing in other networks: CW, and BET.

Not related to this, but I noticed National Geographic channel started airing Shark Tank, just noticed few weeks before. CNBC also airs it too. ABC network continues to air new episodes.

Well, GAC just announced that dramas Columbo, Murder She Wrote, and Little House are coming in January and will take up 12 hours of the schedule a day from 6 AM to 6 PM. Only Full/Fuller House is returning at the moment. Definitely not a move I am pleased with. We already have Hallmark Drama.

I’m hoping GAC Family will add more Sitcoms like The Donna Reed Show & Leave It To Beaver & The Brady Bunch

Full House is now available for HBOMax streaming. Fuller House series is available for Netflix.

They change their schedule more often than most people change their socks.

If I wanted to see Seinfeld, our My Network TV affiliate and Comedy Central air it at much better times. Seinfeld and M*A*S*H deserve weekend afternoon/evening marathons on TVLand a lot more than junk like Two and a Half Men, Mike and Molly, and Mom. But they would probably ruin it with off the clock anyway.

The Andy Griffith Show is losing its longtime 7PM hour on TVLand, Everybody Loves Raymond starts an hour earlier. Andy still airs 4-7.

Full House is now gone AGAIN from GAC Family lineup (Don't know when it started), replaced by some Christmas movies. Only shows airing on GAC Family are: Little House on the Prairie, Murder She Wrote, Columbo, as well as Christmas movies. That's pretty much it.

This channel is quickly turning into a disappointment. Not interested in the dramas and don’t know why they have to play so many Christmas movies when it’s not even Christmas season. I sure don’t need them year round.

Does Freeform have any new acquisitions in the works?

Their show line-up's been pretty boring lately with only The Office, Simpsons, Family Guy, and Black-ish. I miss when they played different sitcoms on weekday afternoons.

Freeform also currently airing original series Cruel Summer (season 2 currently), season 6 of Grown-ish.

The rest lineup are movies, as well as 700 Club, paid programming, and above shows you listed..

I'm unsure what upcoming shows will be coming to freeform for now.

It could just be me, but I feel like there's very little fanfare over new shows nowadays UNLESS they're a spin-off of a major franchise like Marvel or The Walking Dead. Sure, when a show gets popular, people talk about it, though it feels like before then, the media outlets and whatnot are mostly quiet about show news. It's just a "here", and they dump a bunch of links to click on. Feels really boring to me.

I looked up TBS' schedule for the 25th, and it looks like they're going to push Friends back to the early morning hours right after Family Matters, and removing The George Lopez Show and Two Broke Girls entirely.

George Lopez already left TBS sometime earlier this month.

Honestly i don't even understand the point for people who want to binge shows spend more than 5 or 6 hours watching same show for this, but seems to be new trend nowadays for every day marathon.

Ex: Friends on TBS and nick@nite has been doing well in ratings regardless for adult demos

Every Tuesdays has mini marathon of Wipeout (TBS John Cena version)

Every Sundays afternoon has Family Matters marathon.

The only day Sister, Sister gets a decent afternoon hour is Thanksgiving on BET. I won't be able to see it now, would be nice if this got an afternoon block on regular weekdays.

Modern Family must have flopped in the afternoon on TBS. Friends is back to its former 10AM-4PM block leading directly into The Big Bang Theory starting at 4PM. Modern Family has been pushed to late night Tuesdays-Thursdays with American Dad Monday nights. Poor Young Sheldon can't catch a break, because of these changes Young Sheldon has now been relegated to 7-10AM. :(

It was barely on for two weeks before they punted it off to the overnight hours. Could it have really bombed that badly? I don't even like Modern Family, but they barely gave it a chance to find its footing on the channel.

I just noticed CMT schedule Mama's Family is now airing. I don't know when was it recently brought back to the network, but this wasn't the first time, it aired before on CMT a long time.

Also Young Sheldon doesn't seem to be airing on CMT anymore. Don't know when it last left the channel. Young Sheldon is left airing on TBS and syndicated channels. And new season is airing on CBS this February, and it's announced it's ending.

Also Two and a Half Men doesn't seem to be airing on TVLand at this point. The show can still be shown on Paramount network, and IFC, and some syndicated channels. It used to air on AMC for quite awhile maybe briefly.

I also noticed The Goldbergs doesn't seem to be airing in any cable networks including POP, and TVLand. It's currently only airing in local syndication networks.

The show ended last May.

Two and a Half Men returns back on Jan 7 on TVLand, guess that show was temporary off due to holidays.

According to zap2it and TVInsider, The Neighborhood will be quietly joining nick@nite starting early Tues Jun 18 airing at 5am hour, airing every day. Formerly used to air on TVLand but on special occasions. Currently the show airs on BET network, and airs on local syndications.

CBS renewed the series to season 7 and will air this fall.

The Neighborhood is the first show I like on BET since they dropped Diff'rent Strokes many years ago. But I am not going to watch off the clock, six extra minutes of commercials each for five episodes airing tonight from 6:00-9:00. Same crap that TVLand and other Viacom networks pull. :mad: It is on against something better anyway, a Jane Powell musical I haven't seen on TCM.

Sad thing is that TBS probably has more variety than other cable channels do. Some channels only spam one or two shows a day, then fill in the rest of the time with movies.

I checked zap2it and TVInsider, on ION network, Magnum PI (2018) is joining ION starting Fri Sept 20, after H50 (2010). Magnum PI (2018) will air every Friday evenings.

Checking at zap2it, looks like Mom will be off the lineup on TVLand after early Wed. and then later being replaced by The New Adventures of Old Christine.

Mom is then limited to CMT airings.

Checked at zap2it, turns out Mom STILL airs on TVLand after all, based on Tvschedule grid zap2it on Tues Sept 24 and Wed Sept 25 4am-6am.

TVLand's episode description on my onscreen guide and online listings is wrong for at least one show. The Everybody Loves Raymond episode listed now at 10:30 is Just a Formality, where Robert is going to propose to Amy. What is airing is the episode where Frank steals food at the supermarket and yells at the employee getting after him in front of Ally.

I still keep holding out some hope they'll bring in something like Gilmore Girls since they brought back BMW. Not a lot, just some. Sadly, Disney seems to view Freeform and teen oriented stuff in general as disposable now.

The Big Bang Theory joins nick@nite starting early Dec 25 12am-2am slot, First two days will air Christmas episodes, then later on will start season 4.

For nick@nite nowadays seem be only 3 shows: Friends, Modern Family, and later The Big Bang Theory. Those ALSO can be shown on TBS as well.

I thought The Big Bang Theory already have exclusive rights to TBS until 2027, but I guess later it changed.

Just to note MTV used to air Friends back in 2017, but for briefly and it didn't last long.

I have never seen Dolly Parton's Coat of Many Colors movies back-to-back. CMT is airing that pair several times today but it is not part of my parents' package.

This is highly unusual for Freeform. Tomorrow morning from 10:30-11:30AM they are airing a black and white silent movie from 1909! It is called The Cricket on the Hearth. Then at 11:30 they go forward one century with a typical showing of Despicable Me.

I'll Be Home for Christmas is one of my all time favorite movies, the one from 1998 starring Jonathan Taylor Thomas and Jessica Biel, not some movie with the same title that aired more recently on Hallmark. Tomorrow night at midnight right when the new year starts Freeform is airing the really good version of I'll Be Home for Christmas, I haven't gotten to see this in several years.

TBS will air Young Sheldon season 7 starting Jan 30, after season 6.

TVLand will air an extended marathon of M*A*S*H this Monday on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. It will preempt their westerns going to 4PM eastern time. I hope these are on the clock episodes, they just have generic descriptions on Zap2it.

It seems like whenever a holiday or something is happening they preempt the Westerns and show MASH or Andy Griffith Marathon.

Just like nick@nite speeding Friends, MTV also speeding up Friends as well and high pitched.

MTV managed to show regular ending tag credits of Friends, but nick@nite for some episodes ending tag were cut.

Comedy Central back then few years ago when airing Friends were NOT sped up.

Young Sheldon doesn't seem to be picking up other Paramount networks after nick@nite lost rights since last late December. It still airs in TBS and local syndications.

On MTV for past several weeks or earlier this month, Friends airings are now only Saturdays 6pm-8pm. Sundays nights are replaced with more The Big Bang Theory.

MTV airing for Friends this Sat. is pulled and rescheduled for next Sat.

Big Bang Theory was also recently have been airing Mondays as well as Sat and Sun.

Friends for this weekend and next weekend on MTV schedule has been pulled, and that might explain why that show got extra additional airings on nick@nite schedule on a weekend lately. It's scheduled to air on Apr 19, but I may have a bad feeling that show would be pulled from MTV schedule on that weekend as well.

Family Matters somehow is gone from TBS schedule as I checked. It's showing as May 10, but that could change and pull it from the schedule. Although the show is still there on TBS on demand.

The show is still airing in BET and BHER.


Friends on MTV is showing as placeholder on May 3 and May 10, but this could be changed as it will be pulled from the lineup.

Turns out Family Matters will be on Saturdays mornings, but resume weekdays on starting May 19.

And Friends is officially off MTV lineup for good.

Just noticed as of last year, The Goldbergs reruns aren't airing in syndication at this point, given that this show lasted 10 seasons ended in 2023.

American Housewife doesn't seem to be airing in syndication anymore, I think the last was around 2022 or 2023.

Both shows still air in my area, but no other cable channel hasn't aired both shows since CMT removed Housewife and TV Land last aired Goldbergs.

Just noticed as of last year, The Goldbergs reruns aren't airing in syndication at this point, given that this show lasted 10 seasons ended in 2023.The Goldbergs is still in broadcast syndication. Our My Network TV affiliate airs it weeknights at midnight (later on nights like yesterday when sports delays things).

A rare two straight weekdays with no westerns on TVLand: Thursday, July 3 is a 12 hour marathon of The Andy Griffith Show from 7AM-7PM including off the clock nonsense starting at 4:00. One change I just saw that TVLand has made: Bonanza is gone from weekdays where it had been at 11AM for a long time, but just one episode. Gunsmoke now airs 5 episodes on days with no off the the clock from 11AM-4PM.

‘According to Jim’ comes to FX at 7a and 7:30a and Freeform at 10:30a-12p & 12a-2a starting October 1. ‘Black-ish’ was previously airing on both FX and Freeform at similar morning slots but it seems Disney has dropped the show entirely from the lineup. That show is now exclusively on Cleo TV.

I saw three episodes of The Facts of Life and the first half of The Nanny's episode at 5:30 fine. But during the halfway break sound started cutting out, and when the show came back got worse. LOGO's reception blows chunks now, so I ended up turning off that botched signal. :rolleyes:

I wish the problem had been with LOGO. My parents' TV is showing signs it might need replaced, sound problem and poor signal on GET as well.

TBS will be airing a 10 episode marathon of Young Sheldon Sunday, October 12 from 1:30-6:30PM. They are all episodes with Georgie and Mandy, so CBS probably asked them to do this as promotion for the season premiere of Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage which is 4 days later. Stupid episode scheduling won't help Friends fans like Young Sheldon any more. Leading into the YS marathon at 1:00 is part 1 of a Friends 2 parter they are not airing the 2nd part. :crazy:

The Office is joining TBS starting on early April 7 on late night slots. The show is airing on Comedy Central, I also noticed it's airing on E! and MTV lately. ‘Two and a Half Men’ is set to join Cozi TV starting with a marathon from Saturday, May 2nd-Monday, May 4th. Followed by a regular slot at 9-11p wkdys & Sundays from 8p-12a. Also, ‘Hanging with Mr. Cooper’ joins on 5/4 getting wkdys at 10a-11a!

I've been noticing OWN is now airing America's Funniest Home Videos (Ribiera version). Actually that started last year: Sept 29, 2025. Seems as Nickelodeon channels lost rights for it and moved to different network.
