I hope you weren't upset after reading my post in that other topic. I'm usually not the person that posts the "It would've been better if we left this topic alone" kind of person. It's just that I've seen a bunch of fights on different boards around here and whenever someone posts an apology post, it usually turns into another fight. I really do apologize if you think I'm an ass for what I said in that other post.

I say we just call a truce. It's cool if you like Lisa or Blair. It's cool if you don't like Lisa or Blair. The world would be boring if we all liked the same things and people.

Sure I come to the TD bored everyday, but only for a small amount of time...I have OTHER things to do than sit around and talk about lisa all day(except late at nite when there aint nothin to do)...I dont even sit around and talk about Nancy all day even tho she IS my fave actress. How old are yall anyway?!

dude they didn't try to change the subject at all... They prolly wanna fight like I do, but this topic is old and boring. I had a dream last night I was arrested and I didn't realize it was a dream until I woke up. I was like laying there with my eyes closed still thinking i was in jail somewhere near NYC because everytime i looked out the window it was like, right in my face... And there were some eerie looking abandoned houses right out front. But it was kinda fun thee they had like... no regulations and you could pretty much be anywhere at anytime and noone gave a damn,... they didnt have cable tho. that sucked. And if you wanted too you could even leave the place once a month... And go to the rehab center to see people but i mean dude... who wants to leave jail to visit a rehab center anyway? Then I was real good so they took me out "shopping" and said it was just to make everyone else act better so they'd think they were gonna get something good like this cept if i bought anything it had to be with my money (which they took form me and wouldn't give back) and i couldn't wear it till i got out. I was like "Dude... They're gonna act worse... Who wants to shop with no money, and not be allowed to wear their clothes?".... It was a nice plan tho, I guess. Then there was something about cleaning one ofthose old houses so what some dude did was just put a bunch of hoses everywhere and spray everyone then we said we cleaned up the abandoned house... even tho we were just messin around. What was weerd tho was a lot of people i knew were there like... 5 people there. 4 were people ud expect to get locked up and one was my preppy brainic friend who wants to be a lawyer. I was like "What the hell are you guys doing here!?" and there were a bunch of guys there too and no like supervisors anywhere... I kept asking veryone "Are you SURE I'm in jail?" I liked it better than my home life.. Some guy there asked my firend out tho... And I was like "Dude, where are you gonna take her? The end of the hall and back?" He said he'd take her t the rehab center (it was like attached to the building) for lunch, and I was like "That's supposed to be fun?" But i went with this one guy and it was, the addics were all weerd and stoopid and funny. You guys dont really care about all this do you?

Yeah, yeah, so I'm almost 40. Yeah, yeah, so I was a big fan of Lisa's 18 years ago when I was 21. No, I'm NOT obsessed with her or religion or anything. Maybe back then, but not now. My whole point was that I wanted to counter some very obnoxious things that were being said about her that I thought were based
on ignorance and prejudice (i.e. how she raises her kids). And I wanted to leave it at that after I responded to Jenny and go on to something else. hitting 40 going on about a show that only kids will watch??? Excuse me, but I saw it when it was on in its heyday. I saw it being taped in L.A. in 1987. It brings back a lot of memories, and is an ongoing interest. And in this past year, Lisa Whelchel has touched my life in the midst of a personal crisis. It's sad that people want to rag on her for being a kind, upstanding person.
I didn't want a fight over it, I'm not a fighter. I just wish that
people would think about what they say, and not think it's cool to be negative.
