I saw A Streetcar Named Desire for the first and only time tonight, what an awful movie! TCM host Alicia Malone was saying how it put Marlon Brando on the map and started a new generation of what the leading man was. Despicable drunk scumbags that should never be imitated again, what a sad choice of leading man. :rolleyes: I am glad Marlon didn't win the Oscar for this, but he shouldn't even have been nominated. Why Tennessee Williams is well regarded as a playwright, I won't bother watching any of his other movies. :thumbsdow
