I Love Lucy Episode Synopsis (w/images):
“Lucy Wants New Furniture” & “The Camping Trip”:

“Lucy Wants New Furniture”:

Episode #62 (Syndicated episode #63)
VCR: On the Columbia House tapes, it’s attached to episodes #61, #63 & #64.
DVD: On the Season 2 box set, it is attached to episodes #58-63 as well as the My Favorite Husband episode “Trying To Marry Off Peggy Martin.” On the blu ray set, it is attached to episodes #60-63 along with bonus features like flubs, clip from “Stars In The Eye” Special, clip from the Red Skeleton Show and the same My Favorite Husband episode.
Air Date: Mon. 6/1/53

Note: Lucy wants new furniture despite the fact that she got new furniture earlier in the season. I said to people on this board that the furniture must have REALLY been put to use for it to be that bad in a short time but someone on this board pointed out that Lucy ALWAYS wants new things.

Note: it’s been said that when the I Love Lucy episodes were reran in the 50s on CBS, they included flashback scenes where the characters said something along the lines of “ Do you remember?” and when they were sold to syndication, they edited them out. All of that is true. However, I remember when Nick At Nite reran the Camping Trip episode for a few years, they DID show the flashback scene where Lucy is talking about Don Juan. I had the tape that confirmed this. When I first saw this clip on Nick in 1996, I was believed to be confused. (I didn’t know about the I Love Lucy flashback scenes until years later.

No transcript is available.
